log format

The log index page (the page you access by clicking the first link on the top left), should show a list of links preceded by the date they were originally published.

When you open a certain post, the first line after the title should contain mtime. This should show you the date of last modification of the page you’re looking at. The publishing date and the modification time won’t always be the same, and that’s intentional.

mtime refers to a unix system call, you can read about it on stat wiki page.

Regarding the content of this site, it’s supposed to be a log, a series of snapshots of my thoughts regarding who knows which topics. It’s impossible I’ll always be right, or that I’ll always have optimal solutions and the One True Correct™ answer to the questions and topics I choose to write about. This is a consequence of my human fallibility. But, I also appreciate sincerity, so I’ll probably keep most of what I publish online. I might add comments linking to newer posts or explaining why I was wrong, but I hope I’ll keep most of what I write online. Due to this decision, you shouldn’t assume that just because a representation of a certain view is still online on this site, that my thoughts regarding the topic at hand hadn’t changed.

Nonetheless, if you disagree with me enough to warrant doing something and want to challenge some of my thoughts and views represented on this site, either former or current, you can email me.
